WE THE CHURCH!
“So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ” (Ephesians 4:11-13).
Dear praying friends,
It's 2018, Happy New Year! It's a new season, a time to reflect on our Lord and how He is going to equip and use us for His glory. He's given each of us unique gifts to use in service to Him.
He's given Luis and Andrew the gift of evangelism. He's given you and me gifts too, as part of the body of Christ, as being united together as the Church. God has given all of us an enormous responsibility; to make disciples in every nation (Matthew 28:18-20).
By now I'm sure you've heard the message from Luis regarding his health. He has and I'm sure, will continue to fulfill the command Jesus gave to preach the Gospel and make disciples until his final breath. He has been a gift to the Church; teaching, preaching and ministering God's word, growing us up as Ephesians 4:13 says, "until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God."
I've had the pleasure of knowing Luis personally for over 20 years now, and I can't thank him enough for being such a great spiritual mentor! When our family met him, we knew and loved Jesus, but he helped us grow deeper in our faith, experiencing Jesus' love for us in a more personal way!
So it's our turn! Let us now, working and praying together, be an encouragement back to Luis and express the fullness of Christ to him! In union with Christ and through His empowering Spirit, we are complete. we have all the fullness of God available to us.
How? Through faith and through prayer! Let's use our gifts to strengthen and encourage the church, yes, but also Luis, as he too, battles living in a fallen world.
Meanwhile, the work to share the Good News goes on!

Calling in is easy. Simply call 712-832-8330. You will be prompted to enter an access code. The access code is: 8750743. Press # after entering the access code. You will be prompted to enter an audio pin for the call, so simply press # again at this prompt.
If you are calling from a phone with a "mute" button, please mute your phone when you are not audibly participating to avoid any background noise or distractions.

You have the opportunity to join the call and pray out loud. If you would like to join in out loud, please keep these things in mind:
- Remember these prayers are focused on Luis and the Palau team's efforts, not your personal requests.
- Please follow the prayer leader as we pray through the ACTS (Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, Supplication) prayers and by region.
- Please keep your prayers short and succinct so everyone who desires will have the opportunity to participate and be heard.

Thank you for uniting as the body of Christ as the church and for keeping Luis in your prayers for good health and complete healing of his body! Andrew and the rest of the Palau team need your prayers too as they, with Luis, proclaim the Gospel and make disciples in every nation.
"Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen!" (Ephesians 3:20-21).
